Brownie Cheesecake

Adapted from Smitten Kitchen’s Brownie Mosaic Cheesecake: http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2007/08/alexs-choice/

I made this for a Friendgiving celebrate this past weekend, which is an awesome idea and was wonderfully executed with beer in a pumpkin, thanksgiving decor, cajun seasoned turkey, and tons of awesome food  (Especially that winder vegetable medley…never figured out who made that?:( )Anyway, I made this  dessert and it was so delicious! Since it was a new recipe, I had to take a bite before serving it.

Is it more rude that a little bite is taken out or that maybe its awful and no one wants to eat or say anything? I voted for taking a nibble, obviously!

This cheesecake tastes exactly as described…cheescake and brownie. Although it has many steps, it is very easy. I eliminated the ganache chocolate topping because It thought it would be too rich. I think I was right, I can’t imagine more chocolate in this dessert!

As long as you own a spring-form pan, cheesecakes are easy and definitely worth making!
