Homemade Hazelnut Granola

Adapted from Ina Garten’s recipe for Roasted Hazelnut Granola:


This granola is simple, nutty, and easy to make. I serve it with plain yogurt (so there is no artificial sugars), honey, a fruit and the granola. Delish!

1 cup roasted hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
1 cup roasted cashews, coarsely chopped
3 T. maple syrup
1 T. honey
1 T. butter
1 1/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup sweetened shredding coconut

Combine all the ingredients into a medium bowl and stir to evenly coat with butter and syrup. Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake granola for 15 minutes or until lightly toasty brown, turning once while in the oven. Be careful that they don’t burn! Cool completely and then store in an airtight container. Serve over yogurt with fruit:)
