Spicy Swiss Chard

I have never made Swiss Chard before and now I’m glad I tried. It was super easy and super healthy and I think it could add a lot of flavor to a lot of dishes. I put this over rice and then served my Chicken Curry Stew over it. It was delicious!

Swiss Chard, stems removed, leaves washed and chopped
2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
1 T. olive oil
1 t. crushed red peppers
salt and pepper
splash of white wine

In a medium to large saucepan, heat olive oil. Toss in garlic and cook for about 1 minute or until toasty. Add chard and the salt and pepper. Stir together for 1 minute. Cover for 30 seconds. Splash in white wine. Stir and serve.

    1. Thanks for sharing the link to Anne Burrell’s recipe. Looks good. The way you made the swiss chards sounds great too. You really seem to have a knack for what goes together well:)
